Bradford-based storage and distribution company, Vernon Land Transport, has increased is warehouse space to over 95,000 square feet through the acquisition of another main building at its Baildon site. The increase in storage capacity means that VLT can provide a significant and comprehensive range of flexible storage options to a growing number of UK customers.
VLT’s warehouse facility is equipped with palletised racking systems and bulk storage areas, plus a modern range of standard and specialised handling equipment.
Vernon Land, managing director of VLT commented: “The expansion is a significant step for us – it reflects the success and growth of the business and means that we are much better placed to respond to growing customer demand.”
The investment is part of an ongoing improvement and expansion programme which will also include upgrading VLT’s IT and management systems.
