We’re excited to share that we have recently achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. These internally recognised standards demonstrate our commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety.
Reaching this milestone was a collective effort involving every team member – from office administrators to finance, warehouse teams, drivers, and senior management. We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing team for their hard work, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds as VLT continues to evolve.
ISO 9001: Quality Management
To achieve our ISO 9001 accreditation and implement a more robust Quality Management System (QMS), we reviewed our existing processes, gathering feedback from clients and employees and identifying areas for improvement. By strengthening our QMS and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, we’re optimising our internal operations and helping our clients to maximise their supply chain efficiency.
ISO 14001: Environmental Management
ISO 14001 focuses on environmental management systems, promoting the efficient use of resources and the reduction of waste. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we’ve switched to green energy suppliers and are exploring alternative fuel vehicles to complement our existing fleet. ISO 14001 enables us to report on our carbon footprint and track every aspect of our operations, providing a unique opportunity to showcase our sustainability efforts to the wider industry and our customers.
ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety
ISO 45001 sets the standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It aims to reduce workplace injuries and promote the physical and mental health of employees. At VLT, we prioritise safety both on the road and in the warehouse. We’re constantly seeking ways to improve our safety measures to protect our employees, other road users, and the public.
To support this commitment, we provide comprehensive training and aim to build an open and proactive workplace culture. We encourage our team members to actively share feedback and ensure additional support or training is readily available whenever needed.
Achieving ISO accreditation is a major achievement for VLT Logistics, underscoring our commitment to excellence across all our operations.
